Kona

I did not know the Ironman swim and run was in Kona. We saw people swimming and running it was pretty cool.
In Kona we had to tender to the island because they didn't have a pier. These are the lifeboats that they used. They were very big. I was very surprised. Over 100 people fit in this thing.

They had very cool trees in Kona. I thought Ari would've loved exploring this tree it was like a playground.
This is our cruise ship Pride of Americian.

Jacob loves his daddy he was on his shoulders as much as possible. He loved it.

Formal night

Tuesday night was formal night. Even Jacob dressed up in a suit he got for Christmas from his grammy and grumps. Look at the two handsome boys I had the opportunity to have dinner with.

We had professional photos done of the two of us but I love this one of all three of us...Yes that is my wedding dress! I was so happy it fit. It was fun to dress up. No jewelry because Jacob loves to pull it off.

On our drive on Maui we saw so many cool things. In Maui this time of year the Humpback whales are mating so they jump out of the water and flip their tails. It was very cool.

We found a bubba gumps shrimp co. to eat at in Lahina. We had to go because I love shrimp and because bubbaman has the same name.

We were able to rent a 2008 Impala SS so I had to take Chris's picture with the cool SS car.

Maui Wailea Beach

We had two days on Maui this is day two. We drove all over Maui because Chris has been there before. It was cool to have him be our tour guide. This was a very secluded beach. It had only us and one other family. It was very beautiful.

Black Sands Beach Maui

Jacob loved the first time he saw the waves come in but the second time he screamed. He loved the black sand. He thought he was suppose to eat it. To get to this placee was a long windy road about 50 miles took over 2 hrs and I was lucky I didn't get car sick. We also discovered coconut candy. Chris discovered real bananas. We all enjoyed apple custard which is a mix of apple's and pears very tasty fruit ( I forget the hawaiian official name for it). We also saw Hana Beach. They have a Thai restaurant there....didn't get a chance to try it. It was a very beautiful area of Maui.

Hawaii

Well as many may have heard a few airlines went bankrupt the day before our cruise. While on our cruise AA cancelled many flights also. We were blessed by the fact that we had United airway plane tickets.
The flight went well,Jacob was so good even our fellow plane passengers were so surprised how good he was. When we got to Honolulu we rushed off to the cruise ship and there the weird stuff started happening. At the first security gate we showed them our papers. Jacob was put in as a lap child, which was weird because they usually put the name of the child but they let us through. The second security check point noticed this too but let us on by. Then we get to the cruise check-in and the nice lady let's us know Jacob isn't registered on the cruise. Let's just say this was major. They told us we can't let you on the boat. They had to check our Id with his birth certificate. We called our travel agent. It was a mess. This was on a SATURDAY so nothing could be resolved until MONDAY. So to be able to get on the boat we had to sign a paper saying we would pay whatever fee NCL had for him. We were scared but MONDAY we found out because it wasn't our fault we didn't end up having to pay for it....thank goodness. For a baby 6 months to 2 years old it cost $250 dollars.
The rest of our trip was wonderful. The only difficult thing was dealing with the time change and Jacob's schedule. Poor baby is still trying to recover.

Hawaii...here we come.

Well.... were off to Hawaii for our cruise tomorrow. It seems to good to be true. Jacob is coming with us but we are more then happy to take him. He is a very happy baby. We need the R&R. Chris bought it to celebrate my graduating this June with my BSN and my Birthday this month. He is just so thoughtful.
I am very excited. I will post pictures when we get back next week.

Chrysta is graduating

Chrysta is graduating May 23rd from high school. She has worked really hard. She plans on attending college in the fall. We are so proud of her. Here are a couple of her senior pictures. She is such a beautiful girl. We love you Chrysta!!!

Jacob story and latest weight

This picture is so funny. I went down stairs to change laundry, I came back up and this is what I saw. He had somehow fell over and grabbed his pole to his little activity center and he was just having a good old time. It was a funny sight to see.

Jacob went to the doctor yesterday. He is only 21lbs. I was very surprised because he has slowed down a lot. I guess Trevor is the biggest baby. No competition here.

Long time no post!!!!
