Karate Boy

January 10th
Chris and Ari were practicing for their karate tournment and Jacob started doing some karate moves. It was so cute we grabbed the camera and here he is.

It looks even better because he fell a few days before and has a nice scab and swollen eye. Poor little guy fell down concrete stairs. He now looks like a real karate boy.

New Years!!!

New Years...I worked but I had a wonderful surprise from my hubby... he showed up at midnight with a kiss and some presents. I was so happy to see him. I was able to get a small break and spend some time with him. I am so grateful for him for always being there for me. I am so happy for 2009 because I get to be with him.
Happy New Years to all of you. You are in my heart and on my mind more then you all know.

Happy New Years!!!!

Superman?

It's a bird...no no it's a plane....it's ..superman?
Nope just Alec

More Disneyland..cousins, aunt and uncle

The cutest thing to see was Cameron's instant attachment to Alec. He wanted to go on every ride with his buddy...Alec. He called him "MY BUDDY". It was so cute to hear Cameron say I want to go on that ride with my buddy. I know Alec enjoyed it too.

In the picture above was the only ride Channing couldn't go on so the big boys went. Bob and Alec took the challenge...but this ride tis nothing compared to the HOLLYWOOD HOTEL OF TERROR because that my friends is my favorite ride!!!!

Eat, drink and be merry...Cason and Jacob couldn't go on alot of rides but we still had fun snacking and hanging out. It was fun to take turns so us adults could be kids too!!!!

The first ride on our first day at Disneyland the kids were so excited!!!! Nemo.....

Goofy's kitchen

Chris heard from some people that Goofy's kitchen was really good and the character's are there for the kids to visit with. We were surprised how good the food was. It was buffet style but the food was amazing. The best place I have ever eaten at in Disneyland for sure.

Jacob missed out because he was snoozing...already exhausted. He sleep through the whole thing. The other kids ate where they could afford it. This place is a bit spendy but I felt it was worth it.

Look Mom I'm not scared...Cason loved the Character's he was shy at times but the character's are so good about making the kids comfortable.

Cameron on the other hand was hilarious he wouldn't even look at the girl character's. They come in and he looks instantly away and won't look back...even if they are talking to him. It was so funny. This picture kinda shows it. He knew she was there but just stood there like a statue until she left.Channing loved it all!!! In the picture below Cameron also didn't want anything to do with Pluto. To get a picture Danya had to hold him.

Disneyland

We were so excited to go to Disneyland with Bob & Danya and family. We had such a blast. We need to have everyone go one year that would be awesome. Cassidy couldn't come because she was in Victorian dinner a very cool production/dinner put on by EHS, but she will be going on a band trip to San Francisco this spring.
Disneyland is so pretty at Christmas time they really get into it. They have everything decked out in Christmas garb. Including a huge Christmas tree on Main St. The coolest thing is the snow, it looks like snow but it's very tiny bubbles. We started out spending the night at Uncle Merrill and Aunt Stephanie's. We got to visit with Uncle Merrill a little in the morning before heading to Disneyland. We were hoping they could go with us one of the days but they had to work :( but Uncle Merrill did meet us at Disneyland for a minute because he had a meeting there...how cool is that!

Now for some Pictures..
The strongest boys couldn't get the sword out of the stone but it was sure fun to see them try.

Lady bug ride at California adventure....too twisty for me. Danya went though....way to go Danya!

Blue Poncho is Danya....Poncho's rule for that ride..unless it's really hot and you want to cool off.

When we first got in the park we saw Minnie!!! Jacob just loved her. The character's do such a good job so the babies don't get scared.

That is the castle...all lit up for Christmas it was so pretty this picture doesn't even do it justice.

An attitude of Gratitude

I wanted to make sure to let you all know how grateful I am for you. Life gets hard and busy and we forget to stay in touch as much as we would like but I hope you all know we love you and appreciate everything you do for us.
I also just wanted to say how grateful I am for my husband Chris and our children. We are so grateful for them. It can be overwhelming at times and the trials seem to never end but it is an amazing feeling to know we have our big family and our extended family to help us through it or keep things in perspective. It's the most important thing because in this life the only thing we take with us is our relationships with other people, our Heavely Father and Our Saviour. What an amazing thing.

Thanksgivng 2008

Thanksgiving was very interesting this last year. We didn't go anywhere but we had a great feast. I worked the night before so the whole family each made something. I made rolls of course, Chris made the Turkey, Alec made mashed potatoes, Cassidy made vegetables and funeral potatos, Blake made green bean casserole and Ari made sweet potatoes with marshmellows on top. Jacob helped make a mess....he is good at that. We cheated and bought pie but it was a great bonding experience for our family.

Our Feast!!!

Twilight opening night

Cass with her good friends Jordan and Michelle

Cassidy and I love twilight so we had to go on opening night. Cassidy bought tickets week in advance...good thing because they were sold out!!! Cassidy went with Michelle and Jordan and they were nice enough to let me tag along. They left early in the evening to get good seats and I met up with them later. It was crazy ...many yelling and screaming fans. It was the midnight showing on a school night (my bad). Cassidy and her friends made pajama bottoms and Cassidy made her and I some awesome t-shirts.

Catch up

Once again I am trying to catch up on my posts....hopefully this time I can stay caught up because I finally have DSL....I know it sounds crazy but we couldn't get it until now and I am so excited to have a fast connection.
Update on the Miller/Brannan clan. I am working on a PCU floor and I love it. I don't like working full time but I am learning so much it's amazing. Chris has been so supportive driving the kids to seminary and the other two to school because I work nights. I love working nights but hate it at times. I have a hard time sleeping on my days off. I sometimes don't get to bed until 2 am. Not to mention Cassidy loves this TV show called LOST and she got us hooked. We are on season 2 right now. It's crazy....we never watch TV and now we feel like addicts. Oh well. I will share more later. I want to get some pictures on here. ;)
